Let's talk about Love...

Updated: Mar 9, 2019

Capturing LOVE as it forever changes and grows is one of my passions.

August is a busy month for us photographers... there's wedding season, senior sessions, and if you're a mom of three like me, it's back to school prep too!

I would love to share some of the Love Stories I have documented this month.

I've had the honor to photograph clients through their engagement, wedding, on to maternity and even to newborn!

All of these phases of love are so important to capture so they can be forever cherished.

Your love story is unique, special in every way, it's changing and evolving, and I am honored that it is my job to witness and document it. Whether you're pledging your love to each other in the wilderness or at the alter, I believe in capturing your authentic emotions as you commit your lives to one another.

Prior to your photo shoot, we will have a wardrobe consultation and discuss your vision for the shoot. Following this meeting, you will receive an email with all your getting ready tips!

Take a look below for a few images from a recent Love Story.

First there was Tara and Jon. These two have a very special story, I can't even begin to tell you how deep their love is. This ceremony had me and all the guests in tears! It was a beautiful setting at Falkirk Cultural Center in San Rafael California.

Her dress was a dream to photograph with touches of red in her bouquet. Jon has two handsome boys and Tara has a gorgeous daughter. My favorite part was the sand ceremony. The "Blending of the Sands" ceremony can be a beautiful and meaningful alternative to the "Unity Candle" ceremony. Like a Unity candle, the pouring of five different colored sands together is used to symbolize the joining of the bride and groom and the joining of their families. I am honored to have been the photographer they chose to document this special day.

Congrats to T & J!

The second love story I was pleased to be a part of, was the joining of Kelley & Mason. It was a pleasure to work alongside some amazing photographers during this special day. This venue was to die for! Setting at the top of a hill in Healdsburg CA is Chalk Hill - a new favorite. If you're in the market for a venue, check this place out!

These two were so fun and playful on their wedding day, with moments of pure love like when the Father of the Bride spoke sweet words during the toast that brought tears to both bride and groom.

Cheers to many years of happiness K & M!
